THE BASEMENT

Home to the legendary and award-winning weekly Komedia Comedy Club as well as larger music gigs and club nights, the Basement at Komedia boasts one of the best sound, lighting and AV set ups in Brighton and has been awarded the Chortle Best Venue in the South a record 17 times.

This venue’s accessibility information on their website is outstanding. As an autistic wheelchair user it was so amazing to be able to see the layout/3D view of the whole venue… If more venues followed Komedia’s example the world would be a much better place!
