Tslammers 70’s Soul Show

TSlammers is an 8-piece Soul Band paying tribute to some of the finest Soul and Motown artistes from the 70’s. The set is designed to Dance & Party to, performed in the original raw style. This is no gentle toned-down cover act! – Just hard hitting, foot stomping, thigh slapping, Funky but live sweet soul music, as it was and as it should be remembered.

Some of TSlammers musicians played in the original Soul Touring acts of Lee Dorsey, Fontella Bass, Inez & Charlie Foxx, The Drifters, The Platters, Percy Sledge, plus some that have been forgotten in the mists of time between 1969 and 1973.

What people are saying...

What a superb venue. I have been several times. Always a warm welcome and a safe space to enjoy the artists that are more “left field” than other more mainstream venues.

Cracking little venue, intimate, great acoustics, friendly staff, middle of town, nice beer selection, fair prices. What more could you want?

Great place to see bands. Not too big . Not too small. Excellent views plus TV screens in all areas. Disabled parking in the street behind. Good eateries locally after gig.

Komedia continues to have club nights that suit all ages. It is a brighton institution that should be revered.

I wanted to say a massive thank you for hosting my son and I in the Studio. I was so impressed by the kindness, efficiency, and professionalism of all the team at Komedia. Everything was perfect – the sound, the room, and all of the staff.

It was honestly the best concert experience I’ve had in a long time! Since being chronically ill, I’ve never felt completely welcome at venues. […] Komedia made me feel completely comfortable and confident in myself during the whole show! […] Although I traveled from London, I will most definitely be returning when I can, choosing it over London venues!

Lovely, intimate venue. Great sound system. Perfect for small concerts.
