HIPSHAKER: Funk & Soul Club
Hipshaker club nights have been running on the south coast since the ‘90s, and for the first time they are coming to BRIGHTON . For many years they ran their own Weekenders on the Isle of Wight and they also have their own stage at the Isle of Wight Festival, since 2006. They’ve been DJs at Victorious Festival since its start and at Littlehampton Butlins Soul Weekenders.
They play mostly soul and funk, a splash of Acid Jazz, and always on vinyl only, uptempo beats all night to create a unique atmosphere of pure ‘hip-shaking’ pleasure, and a party atmosphere.
