Off The Chest make their return to Brighton for an unforgettable evening of poetry, in association with Words By The Water.
This electrifying night will include a headline set from celebrated Brighton-based poet Naomi Wood (writer of critically acclaimed Fringe show, Gobbess), with a guest appearance from BBC-featured poet Elle Dillon-Reams (writer of sell-out Edinburgh shows MEAT and HoneyBee). There will also be another special guest appearance, to be announced.
Perform your poetry on their signature open mic – poets from all backgrounds are invited to take to the stage, from first-timers to seasoned pros.
The night will be hosted by acclaimed poets and performers Ella Dorman-Gajic and Iftikhar Latif, along with Words By The Water guest host, Ella Sadie Guthrie. Keep an eye on their Instagram, @offthe_chest, for updates.
Off The Chest has been creating spaces for poetry since 2019. Their mission is to give a platform to poets of diverse backgrounds and celebrate original voices in the UK poetry scene. They’ve sold-out venues like Rich Mix, and brought their event to locations across the UK. More announcements coming soon, keep an eye on Off The Chest’s Instagram for updates – @offthe_chest.
