BEN & TOM WATERS – PIANO AND SAX DUO

Get ready for a festive treat like no other! On December 18th, 2024, Komedia Brighton will host an intimate and electrifying performance by Ben Waters and his son, Tom Waters, in a rare and unmissable Father & Son Rock ‘n’ Roll Party! With only 90 tickets available, this theatre-style show promises to be an unforgettable night of music, energy, and festive cheer.

Two Generations of Rock ‘n’ Roll Royalty!

Ben Waters, a multi-award-winning pianist known for his rollicking boogie-woogie and rock ‘n’ roll, has shared the stage with legends like The Rolling Stones, Ray Davies, and Chuck Berry. His son, Tom Waters, has become a musical force in his own right, touring or recording with Ronnie wood, Jools Holland, Sir Ray Davies performing alongside Chanel Haynes, leading his own band, and composing for film and television. Despite their busy individual schedules, Ben and Tom rarely perform together, making this show a truly special occasion.

A Unique Father-Son Bond: 15 Years in the Making

From the age of eight, Tom has been playing with his father’s band, forging an incredible musical connection that has taken them around the world. Tom’s unconventional musical journey saw him leave traditional schooling to tour with Ben for three years, before being headhunted by the prestigious Purcell School of Music. He later graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, cementing his status as one of the UK’s most exciting young musicians.

The magic of their musical bond is never more evident than at their live performances, where father and son demonstrate an almost telepathic connection. This December, the
intimate setting of The Studio at Komedia will bring you closer to the heart of their music than ever before.

What people are saying...

Fantastic comedy venue, very accommodating to my disability requirements. Never seen a bad comedy show there yet … really good up and coming acts.

What a superb venue. I have been several times. Always a warm welcome and a safe space to enjoy the artists that are more “left field” than other more mainstream venues.

Great time, bar staff were amazing. First time here and will definitely be back. Have been to many comedy clubs in Brighton and this has been the best so far!

Amazing experience with the Komedia staff. They have gone above and beyond to cater for my disabilities at a show on June 5th, making sure I am seated correctly and can easily access the area. Very rare experience nowadays. Thank you again for all your help!

Just the best place if you like comedy. The food is great, the show room cozy and personable. Excellent atmosphere every time. An amazing place to watch a live show. Highly recommended!

Always something interesting happening at Komedia. Probably the venue I find myself at most frequently due to the eclectic mix of acts, comedy, music, club nights, cabaret and random silliness! Feels like the heart of Brighton!

I had not been to this venue before and I have to say that I was very impressed… All the staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and cheerful. I will certainly return!!

This venue’s accessibility information on their website is outstanding. As an autistic wheelchair user it was so amazing to be able to see the layout/3D view of the whole venue… If more venues followed Komedia’s example the world would be a much better place!

We came here on the night of Brighton pride and had an amazing time. Lovely, clean venue with really friendly staff and saw it was clearly accessible.

Such a unique place you have such variety, they are really good at accommodating for the disabled. I loved the drag on a bus, 80’s night and more!! I keep coming back so they are doing something right.

I am happy to say that the customer service replied to my enquiry very quickly. They also have been very helpful and understanding.

Great show with great drinks and food – a fab Friday night, 100% recommend!
