So this time, when Charlie said that he actually wanted to be David Attenborough, what other reply could I give than “Go for it Charlie. The world’s your oyster.”

Chris is a teacher, struggling with his memory and a worsening case of insomnia. Charlie is his up-and-at-em student with a love for cinema and darkening home life. As the two lives collide, Chris and Charlie find themselves battling their demons and struggling to survive in a world that seems determined to forget them.

The Still Life of Charlie Sink examines memory, rural poverty, and brotherhood in an explosive 45 minute monologue performed and written by John Archer.
