The finest songs from the iconic master of the modern chanson, Jacques Brel, come to life when this trio of singers perform their cabaret revue, ‘Alive and Brel’.

Komedia Bath is proud to have teamed-up with Bath Fringe Festival to present a series of events at various venues around Bath 22 May until 7 June 2020. This show is taking place at The Mission Theatre, 32 Corn Street Bath BA1 1UF.

Featuring well-known classics such as Ne me quitte pas/If You Go Away, Amsterdam and Jacky, Brel’s music is famed for its emotional power and ironic wit. His songs have been likened to miniature films, laced with dark and passionate observations which paint a tableau of imperfect humanity. The songs of Jacques Brel are guaranteed to bring a smile to your lips or a tear to your eye.

‘A pleasant surprise package…very capable of depicting Brel’s catalogue. The blending of the three voices was particularly pleasing and gave the performance originality.’—Simon Bishop, Stage Talk Magazine

‘An enchanting way to end an evening.’—Hereford Times
