THE BASEMENT and STUDIO

Home to the legendary, award-winning Komedia Comedy Club as well as music gigs & club nights, the Basement at Komedia boasts one of the best sound, lighting, and AV set-ups in Brighton. It has been awarded the Chortle Best Venue in the South award a record 17 times!

The Studio at Komedia is a much sought-after intimate music & comedy space, and a regular feature in The Great Escape and Brighton Fringe.

This venue’s accessibility information on their website is outstanding. As an autistic wheelchair user it was so amazing to be able to see the layout/3D view of the whole venue… If more venues followed Komedia’s example the world would be a much better place!
